Monster, Christina Ricci

I was sort of on the set of Monster with Christina Ricci and Charlize Theron, but not. It was like reading an article in Premiere Magazine, except that the pictures moved. No, they weren't pictures at all...if I looked at them, I was there. Then, if I chose, I could read the text of what was going on, or just listen...there was an informative running commentary.

I got some background on Aileen Wuornos, the production, and some cool (but very odd) actor methodology. I watched a love scene between Christina and Charlize, while Christina and the director nonchalantly discussed, via the running commentary, Ricci's breast reduction.

All very weird, but this takes the cake: I thought I knew nothing about the Wuornos case, and I didn't know Patty Jenkins was the director, but this morning the facts checked out, and the commentary voice? Female.
